How to work with Histogram
To work with Histogram

Select the Format tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Histogram.
It allows you to display the color distribution of either the entire image or just the selected area of your image.

To work with Level
Select the Format tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Level.
It allows you to change the number of color divisions for the image.
To work with Invert
Select the Format tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Invert.
Here you can change the image to display each pixel's complimentary color. This is similar to what you might see when looking at a photograph negative.
To work with Tone Map
Select the Format tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Tone Map.
It allows you to adjust the colors in an image based on the current distribution of colors in the image. Highlights, Mudstone, Shadow are expanding or compress the range of colors in the image.
To work with Focus
Select the Format tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Focus.
It allows you to make the image appear sharper or blurrier.
To work with Hue and Saturation
Select the Format tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Hue & Saturation.
It allows you to adjust the colors in an image and adjusts the hue affects color. Adjusting the saturation makes the colors more intense or washed out However, adjusting the Lightness affects the brightness of the image.
To work with Color Balance
Select the Format tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Color Balance.
It takes all the colors in an image and adjusts them based on two colors specified by the user to make them appear more balanced.
To work with Brightness & Contrast
Select the Format tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Brightness & Contrast in the Menu.
It allows you to fine tune the brightness and contrast in an image. The Brightness and Contrast dialog box offers visual and slider controls for fine tuning the image to perfection.
To work with Style
Select the Format tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Style.
IT allows you to select a custom mood for your image by adding a tint or replacing the tint of a selected color with another.
To work with Auto-Process
Step 1
Select the Format tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Auto-Process.
Step 2
Single fixes
Select the Format tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Auto-process.
Select the fix command you want from the submenu.
Multiple fixes
Select Format tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Auto-process. After that click Batch.
Click on the fixes you want to apply. The sequence that they are performed appears along the bottom of the dialog box.
To change the sequence, drag the button at the bottom of the dialog box to the desired position in the sequence.
To remove an item from the sequence, click on their icons (not the ones in the sequence bar). You can also remove an item by dragging the icon out of the sequence bar.
Click Preview to check the results on the actual image before applying them.
Click OK to accept the settings. Then the Photo Impact will process your image.
To work with Ruler
Select the View tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Ruler.
When selected, displays a ruler along the top and left sides of the current image as a reference to determine image size or align objects.
To work with toolbars & Panels
Select the View tab from the Menu Bar and then choose toolbars & Panels.
It allows you to customize, which features Photo Impact shows to help you work more efficiently. Click to show or hide a specific toolbar or panel.
To work with Photo Properties
Select the View tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Photo Properties.
Here you can see the Properties dialog box with statistics about the current file.
To work with Fit in Windows
Select the View tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Fit in Windows.
Here you can resize the current image to the largest magnification that will completely fit in a window.
To work with Zoom
Select the View tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Zoom.
It shows submenus for zooming in or out on the current image. The submenus offer magnifications ranging from 1/16 x to 16x.
To work with Maximize at Actual View
Step 1
Select the View tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Maximize at Actual View.

- Enlarges the current window to fit the whole workspace and adjusts the image to its actual size
To work with Actual View
You can resize the image to 1x (100 %) magnification. It increases or decreases the magnification on the image to display it at its actual size.
To work with Add a View
Select the View tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Add a View.
You can open and link a new window of the active image at the highest magnification that will fit in the current workspace. Any changes made in one window are shown simultaneously in both.
To work with Elliptical Gradient Fill tool
Here you can fill the object with gradually changing colors starting from one point and extending outward.
To work with Rectangular Gradient Fill tool
Here you can fill the object with gradually changing colors starting from one point and extending outward to the corners in a rectangular shape.
To work with Linear Gradient Fill tool
Here you can fill the object with gradually changing colors starting from one point and extending along a straight line to another point. Anything beyond the start and end points for the fill within the selected area is filled with the start and end colors.
To work with Bucket Fill tool
Here you can fill the object with a solid color.
To work with Stamp tool
This tool allows you to paint ready-made objects onto an image. Choose from the preset stamp objects or create your own objects.
To work with Clone-Chalk
Here you can produce a replicated image by using a chalk.
To work with Clone-Charcoal
Here you can produce a replicated image similar to painting an image using charcoal.
To work with Clone-Crayon
Here you can produce a replicated image that is grainy.
To work with Clone-Airbrush
Here you can produce a replicated image that is "airy."
To work with Clone-Paintbrush
Here you can produce a replicated image with similar texture attributes of the original image.
To work with Color Replacement Pen at Paint tool
This tool allows you to select a color on an image and paint it with a new color.
To work with Drop Water at Paint tool
It works very similar to the blurring tool and it uses a water-downed brush to blur the area of an image.
To work with Particle at Paint tool
It produces circular colored "droplets" that overlap with each other.
To work with Oil Paint at Paint tool
The surface texture of the stroke appears like paint marks are clumped together producing an effect similar to that seen on oil canvas paintings.
To work with Marker at Paint tool
It produces a stroke that has a surface that appears "thin" and fine.
To work with Pencil at Paint tool
It produces a stroke that is hard and fine edged.
